{remembering halloween 2009}
I am going to add a new section to my blog featuring different pictures with days and times of my family. It will feature one picture and I will put little memories underneath. Hopefully I will keep this up and make a book out of it for the kids eventually.
Today's picture just happens to be about Halloween:
totally blurry - totally my kids walking in to the church festival!
First of all, the kids have had their costumes picked out for a long time - probably back to the beginning of summer.
J - invented the flap on his ghost costume. I had no idea what he was meaning until he showed me with the scissors.
S - found his policeman hat at a Goodwill a couple months ago. The FBI badge was made by J and he has his daddy's flashlight on his belt.
T - was soooo excited to Strawberry Shortcake! (her favorite in the world right now!) I went all through the drama of going to make her outfit until my bright husband told me to look for a red/white striped shirt which I bought at Walmart for $8! Score! Her hat was from the dollar store and spraypainted pink with a striped ribbon and strawberry button.
We played at the festival at church all night winning tickets, jumping in the bounce house, and eating lots of sweets!
LOVE their costumes :) So unique, inexpensive and way cool! It's my kind of costume shopping :) Great job on T's costume....she looks adorable!
I love the kids' costumes! You are such a good mom :-)
So glad you found the red hairspray!! T looks absolutely like Strawberry shortcake, way too cute:) Love the boys in their costumes as well!
