{i heart faces: dessert}

{i heart faces: dessert}, originally uploaded by ~paula~.

Every summer from when I was about 10 years old to when I sent to college I went out and worked at a cookhouse at a feedyard with my favorite Sunday School teacher! We learned so much those summers. Not only about how to cook and clean but how to be a genuinely nice and Godly person. I am forever indebted to the late Melba Fairchild. I miss her so much. I do know that she is know in Heaven smiling and laughing at my attempts in the kitchen just as she did at the cookshack.

The bottom one is my favorite since it is an outtake of an outtake. You go girl!

{i heart faces: texture}

A special picture from a couple months ago. I used 3 different textures. I {heart} these moments and want to do a better job capturing them this year. This picture seems to represent how fast time is going by. It screams, "Catch me while you can!" I don't want to miss a moment.

*Don't forget about Jonah's Bike for Haiti blogged yesterday. He is almost to his goal and so excited! Thank you all for donating already!*
