~I have a little "lull" this week so I will be taking the opportunity do some fun family stuff that I've been wanting to do all summer. The kids have no idea...haha!

~We will be starting homeschool for Jonah. We have been teaching him all along so I don't think it will be a huge difference for the Kindergarten year. Simon and him have been doing some worksheets (http://www.first-school.ws) and they love it. I was worried about Jonah's handwriting so I told him we were going to start with "A". He looked at me and said, "Mom, I can do the whole alphabet, silly," and proceded with no problems. Boy, do I have some stuff to learn...

~I went antique store shopping Saturday morning. I have been craving this for SOOOOOO long and it was good to finally be able to go. I got the kids some tinkertoys and they have played with them all weekend.

~Scott watched every one of Michael Phelps's races.

~I was in a "shoot-out" with another local photographer. It was all in fun and we did have a good time. The challenge was a dog in a grassy area at dusk. It turned out to be a gorgeous evening shared with some new friends. I can't wait to do some day trips with them!
